My humble thoughts on minimalistic designs in watches

I would want this beauty because, really for the color. Watch metal bezels should be grey (balance of shine and matt) with enough elements of chrome, I think too much chrome can be ugly and makes the watch in some designs bloated.

Grey is for me is a color of classiness, although we associate grey color with clouds on a rainy day or in a movie with grey filters as a color to show passiveness, but  we actually  feel good on a rainy day or a cloudy day it signifies the precedence for a cleansing act .
The few reasons for it could be, on a rainy day we actually yearn for sunlight, warmth (dry), and we get a sense of calmness may be, but merely pointing out I'd say it can bring out the light more shining and bearable i.e. you need to be sad sometimes to actually realize later that if you can weather through the difficult times you feel the happiness multiplied . Nonetheless even if this watch is grey it is striking to me.

One of the design factors in watches is the dial fonts, I don’t know how many people pay attention to it, but we have to.

The dial fonts help to enhance the beauty of the watch as a whole.  You can see on both the watches the dials are letting us to notice the bezel , the width of the fonts including the font type are a significant factor.
The dial is minimalistic with markers pointing radially (that's one of the reasons to go with roman numerals or simply with dial lines, roman numerals should be slender though) from the dial to the bezel.
The concentricity of the dial guides us to the dial edge to the bezel in two ways, one directly other through intersecting the radial markers.
Also I feel if the hands are broad along with a balanced apex, again it brings out the angles while reading time.
Now let's have a look at the straps, how apt they are! You can also strap a brown one; still the design will be elegant.
Both the watches have a soft tone in their straps like a painting has a soft background to bring forth the foreground to us.
The thing you will notice naturally is the hands, but very subtly your brain is very pleased to see the whole thing. I would say that if people pay enough attention watches are not just there to tell you what time it is, but also a piece of art and craft of engineering, which is "Horology".
